The overall goal of the HyTES project is to provide precursor high spectral and spatial resolution thermal infrared data for the NRC Recommended HyspIRI mission and for use in Earth Science Studies. In particular the higher spatial and spectral resolution data will be used to determine the optimum band positions for the thermal infrared (TIR) instrument on HyspIRI.
